About Me

Thom Wells is a lifelong Expedition Leader, Construction Management ,Luxury Property Developer, Dive Instructor Trainer, Master Scuba Trainer, Medic First Aid Instructor, and Certified NLP Master Practitioner.

Thom Wells has led expeditions, throughout all seven continents, and as an Expedition Leader for The United Nations Environment Programme, led the 1989 Masters of The Arctic Expedition and broadcast from the United Nations the first World Environment Day with John Denver. Thom Wells was the author and curator for the Masters Of The Arctic Exhibit held at the United Nations in New York, and was responsible for awarding the Global 500 Award for conservation to the Inuit people for their conservation strategies in the Arctic.

Thom Wells is the founder of both Expedition International, and Journey Of Discovery, a world wide luxury tour company, affiliated with Virtuoso Travel. Thom has been a sea captain, fly fishing guide and outfitter, Mountain Guide, and has spoken and lectured about sustainable travel, and conservation throughout the years.

Thom Wells has been both a member and officer of Rotary International and member of The Wilderness Society, Oceans Society, and friends of the United Nations.

Thom has travelled by dogsled throughout the Soviet Far East, Siberia, Greenland, and the Canadian Baffin Islands. From both the North Pole, South Pole, to the rivers of New Guinea, Thom Wells has explored the world.
